Nani Condemns Jagan, KCR Over Water Row

TDP leader and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani today slammed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and his counterpart in Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao, alleging that both leaders were the same, being "two sides of the same coin".

The MP termed the bitter water dispute between the two Telugu states as a big drama, and claimed that the entire world was well aware of the "cooperation" extended by the two CMs to each other before and after each Assembly election.

Lambasting the leaders further on their respective stands on the water feud, he added that although he had been optimistic that the people of both AP and Telangana would benefit greatly from the cooperation between the two governments after watching Jagan and KCR exchanging bouquets, he was, unfortunately, proved wrong by the CMs.

Nani even alleged that Jagan and KCR were putting on "dramas" for their own benefits while being in cahoots in private, and fumed, "The people of AP are not naive or innocent enough to believe the CM. They can see right through his dramas, and those of his sister Y S Sharmila's as well."

He then demanded that Jagan complete all the work related to the development of the state capital if the latter was serious about developing the region.

The leader also criticised the AP CM for allegedly being "the only CM" who had imposed taxes on the people in the midst of the devastating Covid-19 pandemic.
