KCR Assures One Lakh Jobs In Two Years
The Telangana CM assured that the government would begin recruitment for the various departments soon after the receipt of the Kamalnathan Committee report.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday assured that the state government would begin recruitment for the various departments soon after the receipt of the Kamalnathan Committee report.
Replying to the issues raised by Leader Of The Opposition D Srinivas in the Legislative Council during the debate on the state budget, the Chief Minister said that the government proposed to provide jobs to one lakh young people in the next two years.
He said that the Telangana State Public Service Commission had also initiated the process to begin recruitments to various departments.
However, the findings of the Kamalnathan Committee would be important in identifying the posts which needed to be created and filled.
Compared to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana had more Class-IV employees, he said.
The Chief Minister also assured that the government would fill all the vacancies for Urdu teachers in the State. He said that nearly 2,000 posts in Urdu schools were lying vacant, and they would be filled soon.
He also made it clear that the next DSC exams would not be held unless the process of rationalising of schools was complete. (INN)
