Rs 5 Lakh Ex Gratia For Swapnalok Fire Victims
Expressing grief at the fire accident at Swapnalok Complex where six people died, CM K Chandrashekar Rao announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the affected families.
Expressing grief at the fire accident at Swapnalok Complex in Secunderabad where six people died, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the families of each of the deceased.
He also directed the officials to extend quality treatment to all those injured in the accident.
The CM also promised that the State government would extend all possible support to the families of the deceased and those injured in the mishap.
Meanwhile, ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mahmood Ali along with GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi and Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy visited Gandhi Hospital where the injured persons are undergoing treatment, and enquired about their health condition.
Yadav too promised that the State government would extend all possible help to the family members of the victims. He said that the victims' bodies would be sent to their native places after the completion of the post mortem formalities, and that he had already instructed the officials concerned to make arrangements in this regard.
"Regarding the accident, the investigation is going on, and stringent action will be initiated against those who violated the fire safety norms," the minister said.
