Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today termed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as a traitor of Telangana.
He alleged that the Chief Minister was benefiting neighbouring Andhra Pradesh while doing injustice to his own state.
He demanded that the Chief Minister immediately take steps to stop the tendering process of the AP government for irrigation projects that would hurt the people of Telangana.
He said that the state was witnessing deplorable conditions in many other areas. Attacks on the dalits of the state were simply not stopping, and the constitutional protection to the community was being deprived, Vikramarka lamented.
He said that the attacks were being carried out from Gajwel of Siddipet district to Rajapur of Mahbubnagar district, and that there was no response from the DGP to their complaints about them.
He said that the Congress would nevertheless continue to lodge complaints with the DGP against the attacks.
Former PCC president and former minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah too said similar things.
He said that while AP CM Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to take away the Krishna waters to the Rayalaseema region, KCR was staying remarkably silent. He said that the Chief Minister, who under pressure had said that he would lodge a complaint on the issue in the apex council, later wrote a letter to the council to postpone its meeting.
He alleged that KCR was cheating the people of the state, and that he had put many projects proposed by the Congress on the back-burner after becoming the Chief Minister. He also expressed suspicion that KCR and Jagan were working together.
