Congress Terms BRS Silver Jubilee Meeting Utter Flop

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud criticised the BRS silver jubilee meeting held in Elkathurthy, labeling it a complete failure.
During a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan today, the TPCC chief took issue with BRS President and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao blaming the Congress as the antagonist in the Telangana State narrative.
"KCR is, in fact, the primary and sole antagonist of Telangana. He assumed the role of Chief Minister due to the Congress' blessings and by backstabbing the Congress. And now, witnessing the successes of the Congress administration, he appears to be feeling uneasy," Goud said.
"The people of Telangana will not forget KCR's chaotic governance. And his family amassed unprecedented wealth during their administration. The KCR era has however come to a firm end in the State," said Goud.
He also challenged KCR to a debate over the governance of the Congress over a 15-month period compared to the 10-year BRS rule.
"He can choose the time and place for the debate - whatever suits him. I doubt though that KCR has the courage to step outside his farmhouse," he said.
"While he attacked the Congress on all cylinders, criticism of the BJP by KCR was just superficial, much like striking it with a peacock feather. His remarks once again demonstrated that the BJP and BRS are essentially the same," Goud added.
He said that referring to the Gandhi family, who had made significant sacrifices for the nation, as fake Gandhis was the peak of KCR's reckless actions, and asserted that KCR would face appropriate consequences.
