In the wake of the resignation of senior leader Kadiyam Srihari, the president of TDP, N Chandrababu Naidu convened a meeting with senior TDP leaders.
Erraballi Dayakar Rao, Revanth Reddy, Peddireddy and other party members attended the meeting. They discussed the situation which has arisen after the resignation of Kadiyam Srihari.
Kadiyam is the second leader (after
Dadi Veerabhadra Rao) to have quit the party this week. While Dadi Veerbhadra Rao chose to join YRCP after his resignation, Kadiyam is yet to take a decision regarding his affliation to any political party.
BJP leaders are reportedly in touch with Kadiyam, as he had lost the previous election to his TRS rival.
Kadiyam Srihari was one of the emissaries sent to Delhi during the all-party meet on Telangana. Therefore, it remains to be seen as to which direction he will lean politically after his resignation from TDP. (INN)
