Telangana Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao today sought a report on the removal of illegal structures along stormwater drains and low-lying areas in the twin cities.

He directed GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy to submit a detailed report on the demolition of illegal structures.

His direction came in the wake of harsh resentment against the State government's and the GHMC's move to raze unlawful structures "aggressively".
