In a humanitarian gesture, former TRS MP K Kavitha today came to the aid of a disabled engineer named Vinay Kumar in Korutla town of Jagtial district.
Along with the local MLA D Vidyasagar Rao, Kavitha offered Kumar a three-wheeled Scooty meant for disabled persons.
Vinay did his engineering in Hyderabad in 2014. He however met with an accident after that and became disabled. He has since been restricted to a wheelchair. Though he spent Rs 18 lakhs for treatment, his spinal cord injury confines him to a wheelchair.
The former MP, moved at a report in a newspaper about his situation, spoke to him on the phone and offered to help. On Saturday she offered the Scooty to him.
Kavitha also asked the family members to be courageous, and to provide any necessary support in the future, too.
