Jitta Balakrishna Reddy Asks BJP Bosses Why He Was Suspended
Suspended leader of the BJP Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, who was a member of the BJP's State executive, today came down heavily on the State leadership of the party.
Suspended leader of the BJP Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, who was a member of the BJP's State executive, today came down heavily on the State leadership of the party.
He expressed his displeasure over his suspension from the BJP, and demanded to know from the party high command why a staunch separate Telangana State activist like him was suspended.
When the BJP leadership did not respond, Jitta held a press meet at Gunpark and asked 10 questions of the BJP national leadership.
He said that the national leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had repeatedly said that the BRS government was indulging in corruption and that CM K Chandrashekar Rao was corrupt. He asked the BJP leadership why no action was then taken against KCR and his family.
He asked why the investigating agencies, under the control of the BJP, were not proving the corruption charges against the CM.
He also asked why the Telangana BJP was not approaching the courts or the investigating agencies about what it was saying about the Kaleshwaram project and Mission Bhagiratha.
He said that it was also surprising why KCR's daughter K Kavitha was not put in jail in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case in which 14 people had so far been imprisoned, and alleged that the BJP's top leadership was scared that the party leader B L Santhosh would be dragged into the MLA purchase case by the BRS if any action was initiated against Kavitha.
"Isn't it true that Kavitha's case was dropped midway in the Munugodu elections," Reddy asked.
He also demanded that the party's national leadership explain why Bandi Sanjay had repeatedly asked it to make changes in the State and district committees to strengthen the BJP in Telangana.
