Jayasudha Joins YSR Congress, To Contest From AP

Former Congress MLA and noted Telugu film actress Jayasudha and her son Nihar Kapoor today joined the YSR Congress Party at its Lotus Pond office.

Former Congress MLA and noted Telugu film actress Jayasudha and her son Nihar Kapoor today joined the YSR Congress Party at its Lotus Pond office.

YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy welcomed the actress and her son into the party fold.

Later, the actress-turned-politician said that there was no decision yet on the constituency she would contest from in the upcoming Assembly Elections.

"I will contest in Andhra Pradesh this time as per direction of Jaganmohan Reddy," the former MLA said. "I will work to strengthen the YSRCP and work from any place to be decided by Jaganmohan Reddy."
