Many trains were running behind schedule on Friday, in the Guntur-Secunderabad section, as the Janmabhoomi Inter-City Express between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad halted at Bellamkonda in Guntur district due to a technical snag.
The Janmabhoomi Express started at Visakhapatnam, developed a snag in the engine, near Bellamkonda.
Following this, other trains were forced to be halted at various stations on the Guntur-Secunderabad route.
The Sabari Express was stopped at Piduguralla, the Palnadu Express stopped at Tummalacheruvu, and the Macherla-Repalle Passenger at Nadikudi junction.
Trains on other sectors also ran late as a result, officials said.
