"Jagan Accusing Cong For Sympathy"
PCC official spokesman N Tulasi Reddy stated that former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy (Jagan) is accusing the national party of splitting his family, for sympathy.
Pradesh Congress Committee official spokesman N Tulasi Reddy on Friday stated that former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is spreading 'canards' against the Congress by claiming that the national party was trying to split his family.
Talking to media persons here, Tulasi Reddy alleged that Jaganmohan Reddy, popularly called Jagan, has launched a 'Goebbels campaign' against the Congress, and is going before the people with it.
Jagan is taking advantage of the Congress giving a ministerial berth to Y S Vivekananda Reddy, claiming that this was an attempt to split his family. However, if the Congress High Command offered him the Chief Minister's post, would Jagan describe it as an attempt to bond the family, Tulasi Reddy asked.
Eyeing just the Chief Minister's post, Jaganmohan Reddy has not bothered about party principles, family relations and social justice, the Congress spokesperson stated.
Stating that Jagan has failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people of his constituency, the senior Congress leader stated that the former MP had not raised any people's issues in the Parliament.
He was not even available for the people of his constituency to air their grievances, Tulasi Reddy alleged.
The PCC spokesperson further said that Budvel MLA Kamalamma had returned to the Congress party as there was no social justice in the YSR Congress Party.
The 20-Point Economic Programme Chairman expressed confidence that the Congress candidates would easily win over their opponents in the by-elections. (INN)
