"Supporters To Harm Jagan's Party"

Taking seriously the comments of suspended Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) General Secretary Ambati Rambabu that Congress President Sonia Gandhi was a 'shaitan', the ruling party's Women's Wing President and MLC Ganga Bhavani on Tuesday demanded that the defiant leader withdraw his comments immediately and offer an unreserved apology.

Talking to media persons at the Gandhi Bhavan, Ganga Bhavani said that the description by Rambabu was not only unacceptable, but was also in a very bad taste.

Ganga Bhavani described Rambabu and Roja as one of the 'iron-legged' people who would hinder the progress of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's yet-to-be-announced party. She opined that Reddy's party would collapse before it could gain a footing.

Ganga Bhavani also lashed out against both Rambabu and Roja, and said that they did not have any moral right to talk about Sonia Gandhi.

She demanded that the 2 Jaganmohan Reddy supporters check their language and desist from using abusive and foul language against Congress leaders. Ganga Bhavani also warned them of serious consequences if they did not control their behaviour.

Reacting on her party aligning with the Praja Rajyam Party, the Mahila chief termed it as a good sign, and predicted that the Congress party would gain popularity in all the three regions of the state.
