Jagan Stalling AP Progress: Naidu

The TDP supremo and AP Chief Minister called upon his party activists to protest against the two-day deeksha of Jagan in the new capital city area.
Hyderabad | 3rd June 2015
Alleging that YSR Congress Party president and Leader of the Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had become a road block for the development of the state, TDP supremo and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today called upon his party activists to protest against the two-day deeksha of Jagan in the new capital city area.

The Chief Minister held a video conference with ministers and legislators before leaving for the Anantapur district to participate in the "Janmabhoomi- Maa Vooru" program.

He charged the YSRCP chief with resorting to deekshas to prevent the building of a new capital city for the state.

He also accused Jagan of conspiracy in supporting the TRS in the MLC elections.

Naidu is reported to have discussed the strategy for the AP MLC elections and asked the ministers in charge to take on the responsibility.

The Chief Minister also assured people that adequate water would be provided to the Rayalseema region after completion of the Pattiseema project in the next six to seven months.

Participating in the "Janmabhoomi" program in the Anantapur district next, the Chief Minister interacted with the Gotuluru village's farmers.

He said that four check dams would be constructed across the Chitravti river, and that the farmers would be provided with irrigation equipment with 90% subsidy. (NSS)
