Criticising Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's Odarpu Yatra, senior Telangana Congress leader K R Amos on Saturday demanded that the high command prevent him from making provocative statements against chief minister K Rosaiah.

Talking to media persons at the CLP media point on the assembly premises, Amos asked the Kadapa MP not to make political statements against Rosiaah and put the government in trouble.

"Why is he making political statements against the chief minister while stating that the Odarpu Yatra was launched to console the families of those who died after news of YSR's death?," he questioned.

The senior Congress leader said that Jagan ought to compensate the bereaved families from the Y S Reddy Trust's corpus fund of around Rs. 3,000 crore.
