Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today asserted that the menace of corruption should he weeded out completely from the state.
He asked the relevant officials of the state to take steps to inculcate fear among people who indulged in corruption or even contemplated it.
The CM made these remarks while holding a review meeting at his camp office on various issues involving corruption like the 14400 anti-corruption call centre number, the cabinet sub-committee report, the IIM Ahmedabad report, reverse tendering and judicial preview.
Speaking on the occasion the CM asked the officials to link the number 1902 to the ACB.
He also asked them to register complaints against corruption from villages and even wards through that number.
Reddy said that the system which monitored the complaints should be strong. The call centre number should be linked with the district Collectors' offices as part of this, he instructed the officials.
He said that there should specifically be no corruption at the MRO, MPDO, town planning and Sub-Registrar offices.
