Jadcherla Murder: MLA Sent To Jail

TDP MLA Erra Shekhar surrendered to the police on Monday, after his plea for anticipatory bail was rejected by the High Court.

TDP MLA Erra Shekhar was sent to 14-day judicial custody by the Atmakur Civil Judge on Tuesday, in connection with the murder case of his younger brother Jagan Mohan.

The Jadcherla MLA surrendered to the police on Monday, after his plea for anticipatory bail was rejected by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. He was named the prime suspect after Jagan Mohan was shot dead near Devarkada in Mahabubnagar last month.

Following the court's orders, Erra Shekar was taken to the Mahabubnagar District Jail. (INN)
