Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today said that online classes for Intermediate students would commence on September 1.
She asked the teachers and lecturers to report to their respective colleges by August 27 to start working.
The minister said that the government had conducted training classes for the lecturers to be able to teach online.
As readers know, the government has
already started online classes for school students from 1st class in the state. In addition, it has also made arrangements for online classes for degree and post-graduate courses.
The government has asked Doordarshan to provide online classes facilities for the schools and colleges.
Meanwhile, on September 5 Teachers' Day will be celebrated to mark Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birth anniversary.
The government will honour the best teachers of the state on that day, Reddy said.
