Traffic Police Help Non-Stop Transport Of Organs Again
The distance between the Malakpet Yashoda Hospital and the Begumpet airport, 12.6 km, was covered in just 14 minutes thanks to the support of the police.
Once again the Hyderabad traffic police today helped transport live organs (lungs, kidneys and liver) very quickly by providing non-stop movement for the ambulance carrying them.
The traffic police arranged a green channel for the transportation of the organs from Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet, to the Begumpet airport.
The organs were then taken to PSG Hospitals, Coimbatore, through a chartered flight.
The distance between the Malakpet Yashoda Hospital and the Begumpet airport is 12.6 km, and was covered in just 14 minutes thanks to the support of the police. The medical team carrying the organs left at 1:21 pm from Yashoda Hospital and reached the Begumpet airport at 1:35 pm.
The efforts of the police in the transportation of the organs were lauded by the management of the Malakpet Yashoda Hospital.
