When the vehicle reached Tipparthi in Nalgonda district, the offenders threatened Sohel with a firearm, stopped the container by the roadside, tied the hands and legs of the driver and cleaner with ropes and blindfolded them, and beat them up.
The offenders kept the two in the container and roamed around with the container for a while. They then finally stopped at the Thukkuguda ORR and fled with the 192 tyres.
The police, on receipt of the complaint, plunged into action and recovered the property.
