Revanth Reddy alleged that Commissioner of Police C V Anand was trying to hide the names of the owners of the vehicles in which the heinous crime was committed.
Hyderabad | 8th June 2022
TPCC president Revanth Reddy today demanded that the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police C V Anand arrest the owners of the Toyota Innova and Mercedes Benz cars which were used in the gangrape of a minor in the Jubilee Hills police station limits.
Speaking to media persons in New Delhi, Reddy alleged that the CP was trying to hide the names of the owners of the vehicles in which the heinous crime was committed.
He asked the CP why he was hiding the details of the owner of the government vehicle which was used for the commission of the offence.
He also asked the CP why the police did not seize the Innova until June 4, although the crime took place on May 28.
He alleged that the police were trying to erase all the evidence in the case in order to protect the actual accused.
Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his son K T Rama Rao, he alleged that the father-son duo had turned the city into a poisonous city instead of a global one.
He said that the number of pubs had gone up in the city after KCR became Chief Minister, and that the drug menace took root.
He also asked KCR why he was silent on the issue of the rapes of minors in Telangana, and claimed that the leaders of the TRS and its ally the MIM were behind all the murders, land encroachments and rapes.
He warned the State government that the Congress would not remain a mute spectator if there was a damage to the image of Hyderabad, and that it would launch physical attacks on those who were responsible for the anti-social activities through the Youth Congress activists.
