City Police Nab Two Gangs Supplying Drugs
Commissioner of Police C V Anand said that the police would send all Nigerians who were involved in the drugs trade back to their country.

The city police today arrested two gangs involved in the supply of banned drugs across the country.
Revealing details about the gang members, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police C V Anand said that the police had arrested two persons.
He said that the gangs were supplying cocaine with Delhi as their headquarters. A person by name Ebuka Suji was carrying out the drugs business, and the police could not trace Ebuka despite making efforts to catch him, he said. He added that Ebuka had links with DRI gangs.
The CP said that the gang members would take orders from their clients through WhatsApp, Instagram and Snapchat, and deliver the drugs to them. The gang members were buying the drugs for Rs. 8,000 and selling them for Rs. 10,000 to the customers, Anand said. He added that a man by name Henry Chigbo had entered the country on a tourist visa and was carrying out the drugs business even after expiry of his visa.
Anand said that the police would send all Nigerians who were involved in the drugs trade back to their country as they were staying in the country even after the expiries of their visas. The police had already made arrangements to send back five such Nigerians, he said, and were buying tickets for them. The CP added that of 2,500 Africans present in the city, the visas of 750 had expired. The police would conduct cordon and search operations and catch all those whose visas had expired, he said. He said that the police were not booking any cases against them, since that it would create problems to send them back to their countries.
