Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath, on Saturday, asked TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao to restrain from making provocative statements.
Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office, Sailajanath said that the Congress High Command has only announced its decision on Telangana, and that a separate state has not yet been created. "KCR should avoid making controversial statements, and stop treating Hyderabad as his Jagir," he said.
He said that as per the Constitution of India, every Indian has a right to live and work anywhere in the entire country.
Stating that Seemandhra people are not dependent on anyone, Sailajanath said that KCR himself is a "settler", as he had migrated from Vizianagaram.
He said that Congress leaders were pained at the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, and questioned why TDP and YSR Congress party leaders, who had supported the formation of Telangana on paper, are now submitting their resignations.
Congress leaders Kondru Murali Mohan, Rudraraju Padmaraju, Gade Venkat Reddy and P Venkat Rao were also present. (INN)
