Prominent leaders from the Seemandhra region called on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his camp office at Begumpet on Sunday evening.
The leaders, including state minister and Seemandhra Legislators Forum convenor S Sailajanath, Union minister K Kriparani, former ministers J C Diwakar Reddy and Gade Venkat Reddy, and MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, were among those who met the Chief Minister. They reportedly discussed the latest political situation, especially the impact of the ongoing agitation in the coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions in favour of Samaikyandhra.
The leaders reportedly asked the Chief Minister to consult the Congress High Command again and ask it to reverse its decision on the formation of Telangana. (INN)
