A clash between two groups claimed the life of a person at L B Nagar and left six others seriously injured.
The incident took place when one of the groups asked the members of the other group who were getting drunk, to consume alcohol in an open place located behind K K Garden of the area.
Enraged at this, members of the latter group attacked the members of former group.
In the attack, a person by name Narasimha Reddy died while the six others sustained serious injuries.
The injured were rushed to a hospital for treatment. The body of the dead person was taken to Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy.
The accused are at large. The L B Nagar police registered a case and are investigating the matter.
