Hyderabad Belongs To All, Says Lagadapati Rajagopal

Lagadapati said that he is completely against the decision of the Congress party to bifurcate the state.

Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal on Thursday claimed that Hyderabad belongs to people of all the regions in the state.

Addressing a gathering at the Rachabanda Programme in Ranigarithota of Vijayawada East Assembly segment in Vijayawada, Lagadapati said that it is incorrect to experiment with Hyderabad, which has been home for people from all the regions.

He asked whether it is a crime to speak in favour of united Andhra Pradesh and oppose division.

Without naming anyone, he said that the state was being divided at the instance of an "adopted son" and "division-monger".

Lagadapati said that he is completely against the decision of the Congress party to bifurcate the state. (INN)
