Congress MLC K R Amos has advised the Seemandhra leaders to concentrate on developing their own capital rather than "trying to stall the process of Telangana formation".
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises here on Thursday, Amos said that the Seemandhra leaders are wasting their energies, in seeking change in the status of Hyderabad.
He said that they should instead think about what would be an appropriate place for setting up the new capital for the residual state of Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the Centre is ready to provide funds for the development of the new capital.
"Therefore, instead of trying to incite regional feelings by making statements on the status of Hyderabad, the Seemandhra leaders should centre their energies on the new capital," Amos said. (INN)
