Alwal Double Murder Solved In 72 Hours
The accused, Chinthakindi Anil Kumar, a resident of Krishna Nagar Colony in Macha Bollarum, is involved in 21 theft-related cases, and was arrested.

Teams from the Alwal police station, CCS Medchal and SOT Medchal Zone today cracked a double murder-for-gain case within 72 hours and arrested the accused.
On the morning of May 4, 2025, a complaint was received from Bojja Latha, wife of Venkanna, a resident of Machabollarum. She said that her family had been living in Machabollarum for the past eight years, working as watchmen in an apartment. Her parents, Rajamma and Kanakaiah, had been residing nearby in Alwal for the past five months. Her father had been unwell for the last two months, and she used to visit them daily.
Her parents visited her home on May 3 at around 7 pm, and left around 8 pm. The next morning, May 4, at 7:30 am, she went to her parents' house to deliver a packet of milk, and found them lying on their cots bleeding and with severe head injuries. Unidentified persons had killed them by assaulting them with a stick and had stolen gold jewellery (a pusthela thadu weighing two tolas) and silver anklets (weighing 25 tolas).
The police registered a case at the Alwal police station and launched an investigation. The accused was identified as Chinthakindi Anil Kumar, a resident of Krishna Nagar Colony, Macha Bollarum.
According to the police, Kumar has a history of criminal activity, and is involved in 21 theft-related cases. These include one robbery case and one rape-cum-murder case at the Alwal PS, three extortion cases and one attempt-to-murder case in Narsapur, and another rape-cum-murder case in Bollarum. He is listed in the known depredator sheet maintained at the Alwal Police Station.
