Huzurabad By-Election: Parties Kickstart Backroom Tactics To Win
With the campaigning coming to an end at 7 pm today, the key political parties of the state are reportedly starting backroom politics to woo the voters.
With the election campaign for the by-election for the Huzurabad Assembly constituency seat coming to an end at 7 pm today, the key political parties of the state are reportedly starting backroom politics to woo the voters.
Rumours are rife that the key political parties - the Congress, the TRS and the BJP - are planning to distribute money to the voters secretly to secure their votes.
Word on the street is that the leaders of these parties also supplied abundant liquor to lure the voters during the recent Dasara festival.
Analysts say that the last two days before the day of the election are very important as they play a big role in the chances of the contesting candidates, and that therefore all candidates will do everything possible to win.
The three key political parties of the state have taken up the by-election as a challenge. Indeed, although a total of 30 candidates are contesting the by-election, the primary contest is between the ruling TRS' candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav, BJP candidate Etela Rajender and Congress candidate Balmuri Venkat Rao. And the leaders of these parties have undertaken a 5-month-long campaign in the constituency.
The election will be held on October 30, and the counting of the votes will be held on November 2.
