Rail traffic from the Nampally Railway Station was disrupted for some time as one bogey of the Hyderabad-Mumbai Hussain Sagar Express derailed while another 2 were affected as the train was pulling into the Nampally station on Thursday.
The derailment came just hours before the train was scheduled to depart for Mumbai. There are no reports of any injuries due to the derailment.
The Railway authorities immediately swung into action and diverted all the trains, to and from the railway station, to the adjoining tracks.
The Hussain Sagar Express was coming from the Railway Yard to the platform after being washed ahead of its journey, when the incident took place.
