Humbly Accept GHMC Results, Will Help TRS: BJP
The BJP however still alleged that the TRS misled the citizens by false propaganda, spent enormous money and encouraged defections from other Parties.

Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy said his Party would accept the verdict of the people and its defeat in the GHMC elections with humility.
Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday, Reddy said that though his party could get only four seats in the election, it stood third in the GHMC electoral battle.
He pointed out that the BJP could get 6.15% votes on its own, but that the BJP-TDP combine polled 18% votes in the elections.
He said his Party was second in 34 divisions, and lost three seats by a margin of below 200 votes and seven seats by a margin of below 2,000 votes.
His Party would analyse the election results ward-wise and Assembly segment-wise before taking corrective measures, if any, he added.
Accepting the verdict of the people humbly, Reddy expressed hope that the ruling Party would fulfill the promises that it made to the citizens before the GHMC polls.
The BJP leader alleged that the ruling TRS successfully misled the citizens by false propaganda that if the BJP was voted to power in the city, they would not get two bed-room houses, and that development in the city would come to a grinding halt.
He also claimed that the TRS had splurged several crores on the elections. Besides, it also encouraged defections from other Parties, affecting their morale, he added.
He also named low percentage of polling as one of the reasons for his Party's disastrous performance.
Reddy said that his Party would still extend whole-hearted cooperation to the ruling Party in the development of the city, and at the same time would mount pressure upon it to fulfill its promises.
