The Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet (HPSB) concluded its centennial celebrations yesterday (December 27).
The Grand Finale, spanning from December 25 to 27, featured an alumni dinner at Taj Falaknuma, The Eagles Carnival, The Vintage and Super Car Show, Start-X Pavilion for Entrepreneurs, HPS Museum, panel discussions, and workshops.
Leading the felicitation ceremony were Gusti J Noria, president of the Hyderabad Public Schools Society, and Jalagam Venkat Rao, Secretary & Treasurer.
They paid tribute to the school's history, acknowledging the contributions of past presidents, including A Shyam Mohan, P Jagadish Reddy and R Surender Reddy.
Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen shared insights into the pivotal role of education and innovation in shaping the future.
Distinguished alumni including Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft; Ajay Banga, World Bank President; renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle; Fairfax CEO Prem Watsa; and acclaimed actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, spoke virtually during the finale.
The event also featured a captivating video presentation unveiling the school's master plan for the future, a thanksgiving video to key contributors, and the much-anticipated launch of the new school logo.
The event ended with a musical performance by the renowned artist Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
