Hyderabad | 22nd November 2019
The Hitec City - Raidurg stretch of the Metro Rail Corridor 3 will be inaugurated by Telangana Minister for MA & UD and IT K T Rama Rao and Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar on November 29.

HMRL MD N V S Reddy inspected the stretch today along with HMRL Chief Electrical Engineer D V S Raju, Chief Signaling & Telecom Engineer S K Das, L&T MRHL PD M P Naidu, COO A K Saini and others, and expressed satisfaction with the preparedness.

He said that all the tests had been completed successfully on the 1.5 km stretch.

He added that the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) Janak Kumar Garg would inspect the section on November 26 or 27, and assuming his clearance, the inauguration would be on November 29.

The opening of this important IT stretch would provide great relief to a large number of employees working in major IT/ITES and other establishments in the congested area, and an initial additional ridership of about 40,000 was likely, Reddy said.
