Reacting to the agitation of the judges and advocates in Telangana, TDP MLC and senior Party leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu today said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had already written a letter to the Centre for an early bifurcation of the Hyderabad High Court.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Muddukrishnama Naidu alleged that by manipulating the sentiments of the public, important issues were being diverted by the TRS government. He said that Chandrababu Naidu had written to the Centre in 2014 itself for the bifurcation of the High Court. When the State itself was divided, who was interested in and wanted a common High Court, he wondered. And who would oppose it if Telangana Chief Minister KCR was ready to spare a suitable building with all facilities for a separate High Court, he asked.
The TDP leader said that the AP government had given a plan to Singapore which specified a High Court, too. The High Court bifurcation issue was in the hands of the Central government and the TDP had nothing to do with it, he added.
He claimed that the institutions envisaged under Schedule 9 and 10 of the Act were made inactive, and the same people were now leveling baseless charges against Chandrababu Naidu.
He also alleged that the YSRCP was creating hurdles in the development of Amaravathi by levelling baseless charges against the ruling Party.
