HC Asks Cops To Give Permission To TJS Public Meeting

The Hyderabad High Court today gave permission for the proposed public meeting of M Kodandaram's Telangana Jana Samithi party.
Hyderabad | 16th April 2018
The Hyderabad High Court today gave permission for the proposed public meeting of M Kodandaram's Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) party.

The court directed the state government to accord permission within three days to the public meeting scheduled for April 29.

For the uninitiated, a TJS representative had approached the High Court seeking permission for the party's proposed meeting as the police had declined their request for permission. While dealing with the case last week, the court sought an explanation by the state government. Today, once again dealing with the case, the High Court issued orders giving permission for the meeting.

TJS leaders expressed their happiness with the High Court verdict.
