Heat Claims Five Lives In AP

The increasing temperatures have resulted in the death of five people across the state.

The state is reeling under an intense heat wave, as five deaths - attributed to sun stroke - were recorded across Andhra Pradesh.

While three people died in the district of Warangal, one person died in Karimnagar district, and another in Guntur district.

Warangal has recorded a temperature of 46 degrees. The thermometer has registered a scorching temperature of 45 degrees at Rentichitala.

The average temperature in Hyderabad has been more than 42 degrees for the past two days. (INN)
