The mercury is soaring in the state, and many regions have been witnessing severe heat waves.
Rentachinthala and Ongole have recorded maximum temperatures of 45 degrees each, while Hyderabad has been scorching for the past three days.
Bapatla and Nellore recorded 44 degrees each, followed by Vijayawada, Nandigama, Kadapa, Bhadrachalam and Ramagundem (42), Mahbubnagar, Machilipatnam, Nizamabad and Hanmakonda (41), Hyderabad, Medak and Tuni (40).
The heat waves will continue for two more days, the weather office has said.
Officials also warned that the intensity of heat waves would be felt in Krishna, Guntur, Nellore and Prakasam districts. (INN)
