Severe Heatwave Alert For Hyderabad Residents

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Hyderabad and several districts in Telangana, warning of severe heatwave conditions.

Temperatures are expected to soar to 44 degrees Celsius on Monday, March 17.

In Hyderabad, areas like Asifnagar recently recorded 39.6?C, while districts such as Kumuram Bheem and Karimnagar reached 42.4?C.

People have been advised to avoid outdoor activities during the peak afternoon hours to prevent heat-related illnesses. They have also been asked to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and take other necessary precautions for their safety during these extreme weather conditions.
