Governor Meets Naidu On Krishna Tribunal Verdict
The Governor and the CM discussed on key issues including the Krishna river water sharing, reallocation of buildings in the Telangana Secretariat.

Governor E S L Narasimhan and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today closeted for about one-and-half-an-hour at Taj Gateway in Vijayawada on Friday and discussed on key issues including the Krishna river water sharing, reallocation of five buildings in the Secretariat to the Telangana government and the current political scenario and development activities in the State.
The meeting assumes significance as both spoke on the appeal of Telangana Government seeking handing over of the five buildings in the Secretariat to build a new Secretariat and sharing of institutions under schedules 9 and 10. Naidu reportedly said that he would not compromise on the interests of either States and would sort out the issues through dialogue. He said he did not want conflicts Telangana as that would hamper development of both the States.
"I am ready for a discussion to sort out amicably the key issues among the two States," Naidu said.
It is pertinent to note that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao recently requested the Governor to talk to Naidu for the reallocation of the L, J and K, and two H Blocks, to the Telangana government, which was holding A, B, C and D blocks currently.
The AP CM is also learnt to have shared his views with the Governor on the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal verdict and his plans to move Supreme Court against it.
He also said that he would inform the media if there was any expansion of Cabinet.
The Governor later smoothly chided the media for its reports that the two States were involved in controversies. When asked on the proposed transfer of Secretariat buildings to TS, the Governor said that all issues of sharing of river waters and institutions under schedules 9 and 10, among aothers, would be sorted out.
