Telangana To Form Committee On Tribunal Verdict
The Cabinet decided on the reallocation of Secretariat blocks, the verdict of the Krishna Tribunal and the implementation of the welfare schemes.

The Telangana State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today passed a key resolution on the reallocation of the five Secretariat blocks, the Brijesh Kumar Krishna Tribunal verdict and welfare schemes.
Later Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Srihari, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy and Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy addressed the media on the decisions taken by the Cabinet.
They said that the Cabinet decided to constitute a sub-committee to be headed by Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, with Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and State Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Niranjan Reddy as special invitees.
The committee would meet the Governor E S L Narasimhan and ask him to reallocate offices that were vacated in the Assembly, Council and Secretariat blocks by the AP government during their shift to Velagapudi near Amaravathi, they said.
Srihari said that the government would release funds towards crop loan waiver and fees reimbursement soon.
The committee will also discuss the State government's possible responses to the Krishna Tribunal's verdict. The Cabinet will submit a report to the government, which will take a final call whether to move Supreme Court or not.
The Cabinet would declare 90 days of paid maternity leave for female government employees all across the State.
It approved the rechristening of names of districts such as Komaram Bhim Asifabad, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Bhadradi Kothagudem, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Jogulamba Gadwala, Rajanna Siricilla and others.
