Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan today extended her greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of Bonalu.

Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan today extended her greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of Bonalu.

The Governor said that the traditional festival was a reflection of Telangana's unique culture and diversified living, and in the worshipping of Yellamma (Maha Kali Matha), the goddess nature and environment, seeing divinity in nature.

The Governor said that she had prayed to the goddess Yellamma for the health, well-being, peace and development of all the people of India and Telangana on the auspicious occasion, and that she had also prayed Goddess Mahankali to shower with her divine blessings on all the people of the State.
