Government To Construct More 2BHKs Soon: Harish Rao
Finance Minister T Harish Rao today announced that the state government would soon start the construction of more 2BHK units for the poor of the state.
Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao today announced that the state government would soon start the construction of more 2BHK units for the poor of the state.
Speaking after inaugurating 56 units, which were reportedly built at a cost of Rs 3.72 crore, in Siddipet's Gajwel area along with Excise Minister Srinivas Goud, Rao said, "Our government will soon start the construction of double bedroom houses on the lands of the poor alongside the construction of the same on government lands. Though the state has suffered huge losses of revenue owing to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and expenditures have only increased, our government has continued to implement all its welfare schemes for the benefit of the poor. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is committed to providing free high-quality housing to the poor despite low revenues."
"Besides taking up the 2BHK housing project in several pre-identified locations, our government is planning to construct houses on the lands of the beneficiaries," he reiterated.
Srinivas Goud too expressed appreciation for the state's welfare programs and said that the poor in Telangana were able to get many benefits from the government programs being implemented in the state.
Commenting on former minister Etala Rajender's remarks about KCR, he said, "It is unfortunate that many who have, in the past, benefited from KCR's rule are now resorting to making false charges against our CM and the TRS. Such behaviour is condemnable."
After the inauguration, the ministers participated in some other developmental programs as well.
