A 55-Year-Old man was left injured after being attacked while leaving the City Civil Court on Thursday.
The Mir Chowk police say that the victim is Satyanaryana, a resident of Goshamahal, and that he had come to the City Civil Court to attend a hearing on a land dispute case.
The attack is said to have taken place when Satyanarayana stepped out of the court complex after the hearing. Satyanarayana claims that a 26-year-old named Santosh had attacked him with a knife, leaving him with severe injuries on his neck.
Satyanaryana told the police that was involved in a land dispute with his sister Yadamma. Santosh was accompanying Yadamma to the Court, and is believed to be her relative from her in-laws' side.
The Mir Chowk police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
This is the second such incident that took place in the court's premises. The first incident was reported on March 23th, wherein a man named Sridhar Rao, who had filed for divorce, attacked his wife and her father in full view of the court.
