"Haleem Festival" In Hyderabad On July 11
Various famous hoteliers and makers of Haleem like Pista House, Sarvy, Paradise, Astoria and Shah Ghouse will participate in the event at Shilparamam.

GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar on Wednesday informed that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Telangana Hotels Association (TGHA) would jointly organise a grand "Haleem Festival" on July 11 from 5pm to 1am at Shilparamam, to celebrate the holy month of Ramzan.
The Commissioner said that under one umbrella and in the ambience of Shilparamam, various famous hoteliers and makers of Haleem like Pista House, Sarvy, Paradise, Astoria and Shah Ghouse would participate in making different varieties of Haleem, biryani, sweets etc.
The Commissioner added that the festival has been organized during the weekend so that employees of the corporate sector and their families could come together to taste the delicacies and enjoy the ambience.
Sufficient parking space, lighting and music would make the evening a memorable event, he said, and appealed to the citizens of the twin cities to participate in the festival and make it a grand success.
The Commissioner said that Hyderabad is famous for its cuisine such as biryani and Haleem, and such a festival had not been organized earlier.
The Telangana government had announced both Ramzan and Bonalu as State functions, and based on the importance attached by the government, this festival was being organized, he added.
Telangana Hotels Association President Nagaraju thanked the Commissioner for joining hands and involving the officials of the GHMC to make the program a success. (INN)
