Digvijay Singh To Campaign In Hyderabad Today

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that AICC general secretary and Telangana affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh would be participating in the GHMC election campaigning in Hyderabad on Friday.

In a press note, Reddy stated that Singh would arrive in Hyderabad at 12:10 pm, and would address election meetings at Jammigadda and A S Rao Nagar directly. Later, he would participate in election campaigning at Manikeshwari Nagar in the Tarnaka division and in the Boudhanagar division, where he will have his lunch.

In the evening, Singh would participate in the election campaigning in the Falaknuma, Lal Darwaza, Shahalibanda, Mecca Majid, Charminar, Lad Bazar and Mothigalli areas under the Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency, the note said. Later, he would address a public meeting at Khilvath.

The TPCC chief directed the party activists to participate in large numbers in the programs of the AICC leader.

In an election meeting in Uppal, Reddy also alleged that the TRS leaders were making atrocious statements against the Opposition leaders as part of their GHMC campaigning.

Reddy said the people would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS leaders. The development of Hyderabad took place only during the Congress regime, he said, and alleged that the TRS leaders were trying to claim that that development took place because of them.

Reddy exuded confidence that the Congress would win many seats in the Old City, and bag the Mayor post.
