The ACB court, on Thursday, extended the judicial remand of suspended judges K Lakshmi Narasimha Rao and D Prabhakar Rao, to 9 August.
Both were arrested in the cash-for-bail scam involving former Karnataka minister and mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy.
The court took this decision when the accused were produced following the expiry of their custody.
Following the extension of their judicial remand, the ACB officials shifted both of them to Cherlapally Jail.
According to the ACB, K Lakshmi Narasimha Rao, one of the 3 judges arrested in the cash-for-bail case, has already claimed that Janardhana Reddy's relatives had offered the judges Rs. 100 crore for the bail.
Narasimha Rao, along with District and Sessions judge D Prabhakar Rao, and a realtor Ravi Surya Prakash Babu, tried to forge a deal with CBI judge K Pattabhirama Rao, who allegedly accepted the offer after initially rejecting it. (INN)
