G Vivekanand's Group Sweeps HCA Elections
The group of former MP and current advisor to the Telangana government G Vivekanand swept the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) elections.

The group of former MP and current advisor to the Telangana government G Vivekanand swept the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) elections, the results of which were announced on Friday.
As per the recommendations of the Justice Lodha Committee, elections were held for the posts of President, Vice-President (one post), Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and an Executive Committee member.
The results were announced by Returning Officer K Rajeev Reddy today. The Vivekanand group won four posts, and the result for the post of Joint Secretary, where Ajmal Asad faced off against Vanka Pratap, was withheld.
For the post of President, Vivekanand romped home with 136 votes while his opponent Vidyut Jaisimha, son of former Test cricketer M L Jaisimha, secured 69 votes. Shesh Narayan was elected Secretary unopposed.
In the election for the post of Vice-President, Anil Kumar beat Imran Mehmood 138-66. Mahender routed P Anuradha, wife of former Treasurer P Yadagiri, 150-58 in th election for the post of Treasurer. And Hanumanth Reddy was elected as an Executive Committee member after securing 100 votes.
