Former India cricket captain Mohammed Azahruddin said that he welcomed the Hyderabad High Court verdict on Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) president G Vivek.
The court ruled today upholding the HCA ombudsman's verdict given three months ago that Vivek was not eligible to be HCA president.
Azharuddin said that it had been proved once again that the decision of the HCA Ombudsman on Vivek was correct.
He said that he had been stating right from the beginning that several irregularities had taken place involving Vivek.
"I have been waging a movement against Vivek right from the beginning. I am happy that justice has been done to HCA today," he said. He added that the body would take a decision on the next actions at its next meeting.
