Telangana IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu today said that the State government was committed to providing fibre connectivity and smart TV services to every household in Telangana within the next six months.
Speaking at a media briefing at the T-Fiber office, he said that T-Fiber was a first of its kind unique initiative that integrated internet, telephone and television services into a single offering.
The fibre connectivity project was nearing completion in around 20 districts, and over 43,000 km of fibre-optic cable had already been laid across Telangana, he said, and asserted that the government was determined to ensure internet access for people living in remote areas.
