Some exciting scenes were witnessed on the first day of the functioning of the Andhra Pradesh High Court at Amaravathi.
The HC took up a total of 42 cases on the very first day. Chief Justice Praveen Kumar and other newly appointed judges came to the temporary High Court premises by 10 am and began their work. Almost all the court halls were filled with advocates and litigants. The Chief Justice heard a writ petition filed by the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation as his first case.
